Colin Jones is a Brighton based 3D Modeller.
In 2005, Colin was introduced to Lightwave3D© modelling software, by a colleague at work, as a way of producing 3d graphics for a presentation. He immediately realised the potential of the software and set about learning it thoroughly. Colin used it effectively during a successful career in the City of London, often producing still images and animations for himself and colleagues under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
After moving to Brighton in 2015, Colin set about creating detailed 3D models of all of Brighton's iconic buildings, an objective which is now well under way. He has worked with the Royal Pavilion Curators to produce models showing the stages of the Royal Pavilion Estate from 1787 to the present day. Currently Colin is modifying these models to make them suitable for 3D Printing.
